Collaboration

We’ve had numerous people ask us about our last post so we thought we would share an insight into how and why it came about.

We felt an illustration would be best to… illustrate what it means to make time for yourself, and the part scent plays in that.

Naturally, this meant an extensive search for someone who could produce something that matched our vision. We spoke at great length with many illustrators, but it wasn’t long after speaking to @amashanov that we knew he was a perfect fit. His unique illustrations convey style with a touch of playfulness. The latter was something we felt, the often too serious, world of fine oils needed a touch of.

We’re not the only ones to turn to Alex to transform our ideas into illustrated reality. His client list includes established and niche brands. We’re also not the only ones to think an illustration was the best way to represent an idea in style. We shared this opinion with @gq magazine who featured Alex in an article titled ‘Is the Next Great Fashion Influencer…a Cartoon?’ and with Ivy Style who interviewed Alex.
